"I was a bit leery to order after reading a couple of reviews but so glad I didn't let others difference in taste buds change my mind. My husband ordered the Beef with Broccoli and I had the Almond Boneless chicken. Whereas, most Chinese take-out locations bury the chicken in breading, I felt that the Almond boneless chicken had JUST the right amount to give it the crunch and still be able to find the chicken. The food was all very delicious and fresh and came with plenty of condiments so folks who like more salt can add soy sauce and those who don't like salt can leave it off. One thing to note, if you order the homemade spicy mustard, they are NOT joking around with the spice! Taste before pouring it on (husband learned the hard way but I got a laugh). Another plus besides being very tasty is that although we live in a rural area, the food was still piping hot when the Dasher arrived. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the portions. Don't get me wrong, I was full and still had enough leftover to get a good second taste the next day but comparing to the other Chinese take-out places near us, the portions were slightly smaller. On the flip side, with larger portions, there is more waste so Kudos on the work to reduce Food Waste :)"

"Boon Kai is usually on point with their food, but these meals were very sub-par for them. The orange #20. Orange Chicken was dry, and the pieces were just huge! The chicken may not have been as dry if the pieces were smaller, but it also lacked a lot of the orange juice or gravy that is on them. They did not please the palate or the eye. The Moo Goo Gai Pan need more sauce or gravy as well.. there is no liquid to spoon up to put over my rice as it has in dishes past. I just feel that these meals were not as good as Boon Kai usually put out."
