"I've never had Takoyaki before so I don't know if it was made and taste exactly like traditional. What I can say is that the octopus is overcooked. Overall I thought the flavor was good I just can't get past the overcooked octopus. You get five balls of Takoyaki in the appetizer. You also get five Steamed Gyoza in that appetizer. They are lovely and thin-skinned and appear to be handmade but there's too much cabbage and it's in too big of pieces. It overpowers all the other flavors which is a shame because I suspect they are quite lovely from what I can tell. The dipping sauce is not my favorite but it's also not my least favorite of Japanese style dipping sauces for gyoza. I added a picture of the broth to show that you get more than you would get it most places usually get one of those little half containers filled up to the top of course but this is half again is full which is nice and makes good value for money for broth because sometimes it feels like they're stingy with it."
