"I ordered Chicken Piccata from their dinner specils. The restaurant called me to let me know that they didn't have it. So, I had them replace it with chicken francaise. On the menu, the CF comes w soup or salad; I wasn't given that option.
About the meal... the chicken was tender & cooked perfectly, as was the linguine. Unfortunately, the sauce seriously lacked flavor. After adding lemon zest, & lemon juice it became what it should have been. I did take it a step further and added some capers, to make it more like the dish I originally ordered.
I ordered takeout because I didn't want to cook.
Photo to details: I was starving & had removed the slice of lemon (nice garnish), and started to cut up one of the pieces of chicken.
The person who called me, was very sweet. This was a take out order. I will give them another try before I write them off."
