You can see from my picture that the box is different from shown and the normal size edamame makes it look tiny. The flavors are fine (and the sauces are REALLY good) but that's not enough to save this meal. I thought this was an AWESOME deal. And I guess it was-- for the restaurant."

"Katsu-ya has been my go-to sushi delivery spot for a long time. However my most recent order was such a letdown. The Sushi Sampler Plate was the saddest looking sushi, like tiny scraps of fish on a meatball sized mound of cold tasteless rice. The crab hand roll was about the size of a finger. Even the crispy rice spicy tuna was mushy and the ratio of fish to rice was way off. Hopefully this was a one-time problem but it was worse than supermarket sushi."

The Seafood Salad didn't have as much fish in it as I would have anticipated for $16+, you can get a whole poke bowl for that. The Hand Roll Combo was overall alright, the yellow tail was great, salmon was solid, but the scallops were kinda hard. The Sushi Combo Set 2 was also solid for what it was. I used DoorDash credit for a chunk of the order which made the cost manageable. Otherwise, I wouldn't spend $70+ on this meal."

"We ordered the teriyaki chicken, which was absolutely horrible! It was dried out and instead of teriyaki sauce it had PEPPER all over it! No teriyaki sauce that I have ever had has had such a huge amount of pepper on it. We also ordered sushi, but we requested that the seaweed be put on the outside and so we were given five pieces instead of the usual six pieces in a normal cut roll and that was because we wanted the seaweed on the outside! That was just plain weird! Dinner was over $80 for three people, and it was a complete waste of money and a very big disappointment for dinner."
