The fajitas tasted rubbery and did not seem fresh. The shrimp had a very strong iodine-like taste that made them unpleasant to eat, and the nachos barely had any meat on them.
Overall, the food was disappointing, especially considering what I expected from El Toro. I really hope this was just an off day and that more attention is given to the freshness, quality, and portions of the food."

"This is the best Monte Cristo I have had since Bennigan's closed, almost 20 years ago. It is huge, more than two meals worth. It's made exactly to specs, is cooked to the perfect degree (crispy but not burned or hard, cheese is melted and interior is warm, not too greasy, not dry or overdone), and comes with the proper sides of raspberry jam and powdered sugar. Whole thing holds together nicely, no mess. I was craving one of these tonight; this was my second time ordering it from here, and I was not disappointed.
