I would compare Fronteras to a fresher, more authentic version of Chipotle. When you order in the store, you choose your ingredients and protein before they turn around and grill the meat fresh on the spot, most of the time I've been there anyway. We moved to Palatine in April 2025 and have been happily returning here at least on a monthly basis. I prefer the arrachera burrito with habanero salsa and red salsa. Each burrito is large and the quesadillas also are very filling. The bowls at Fronteras are comparable to the size you get at Chipotle."

"Karina's conchas are consistently soft and delicious. I like to put a few in the freezer as soon as they arrive. They still taste fresh when they thaw. I've never had campechanas before. I warmed them up for 2 minutes in the air fryer and they came flaky and delicious. Great with coffee! I will definitely get them again. "
