As a native Cali girl, I have been searching everywhere for the past 14 months for carnitas, pastor, and a specific red salsa flavor that I got from my favorite taco truck in CA. The barbacoa was moist and so flavorful without being overly oily or stringy. The pastor was spiced exactly the way I'm used to, I've chased this flavor for such a long time and I've finally found it again. There was hardly any fat at all in any of the meats, everything was hot and it was delivered so quickly, I was skeptical until I tasted it. The carnitas was the absolute shining star. I'm a carnitas connoisseur and this carnitas was almost exactly like what I got in CA....crispy bits but not overcooked to be stringy or tough, melt in your mouth flavor without drowning in grease, perfect amount of onions and cilantro, and the red salsa was actually SALSA with flavor and heat and spice and wasn't the watery tomato paste type stuff I've gotten from all the different Tex Mex places here. 10/10, you've found a customer for life. Theres some man there who sometimes has refused to let me buy it and yelled at me, but thankfully he is not there too often. "the side salad with the bbq ranch is absolutely delicious! and the size of the salad was more than I expected!! I will definitely continue to order my side salads from Rib Crib. "There was nowhere to request extra tartar sauce, and they forgot to include ANY, which was the whole reason I ordered the Ribs and Catfish plate in the first place. The meats in the Three Meat Plate look DRY as heck. The ice cream for a delivery was put inside a paper bag that was stapled shut with warm sides. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was supposed to have toppings on the side. There were no toppings. There was a bun in one container and a small amount of pulled pork in another. For the price, that was nowhere near the amount it should have been. The toast is burned for all the meals. There were no pickles at all, but requested on all. I will say the Cheesecake was a very generous portion and the Fried Apple Pie was the sole reason we went with this place over another BBQ option, but it will take a lot for us to trust them to try this again. For $130+ I should not have an issue with 3/4 meals. That is simply unacceptable. "
