I messaged my dasher, and with the simple request of me calling the store, he was more than willing to pick it up. That doesn't happen often. When I called the store, after politely explaining my problem, the employee clarified with the employee responsible for my order, and acknowledged my drink was at the store. I let them know my dasher was already on his way back, and when the chat services were closed, he knocked to let me know my drink was delivered. Was it late? Yea. Would it have been nice to have no delays? Yea. Are we human and sometimes make mistakes? Of course. And all I had to do was sit at home and make a short phone call.
