"portion sizes were so incredibly small. i'll say the mashed potatoes were the only thing that i got that was a decent size. meatloaf was smaller than one of those tv dinner salisbury steak for size reference. mac and cheese was what really shocked me though. almost 5 dollars for a tiny scoop of mac and cheese is ridiculous. i love valley dairy and have never had an issue when i've gone in to eat, but i was not impressed with the sizing of the delivery portions at all. definitely not made the same way as in store and not worth the money paid for it. that being said my food tasted great but those sizes were so small. i would never order through doordash again, but definitely would still go inside and eat."

"I order from this Bob Evans often & normally enjoy the food & never have any issues. Last week, I ordered the Turkey & mashed potatoes, kids' meal doordash. Whoever prepared the meal highlighted the order details on the receipt, yet they never put the gravy on any part of the meal even though I requested it on everything. They didn't send any on the side either.
Fast forward to tonight. I ordered bacon, eggs, fruit, & French toast. The only edible thing was the fruit. The eggs tasted like bacon grease. Bacon was 80% all soggy fat. French toast was burnt. The Reese slice of pie that costs $6+ was only half of a piece. Does no one check the orders? Does the cook assume people are fine with burnt food? Would they serve that to a customer who was in the restaurant? There's really no excuse for an entire order except a drink & fruit to be awful. The order wasn't cheap either & it went in the trash. "Shockingly terrible...
So I ordered the spaghetti and meatball combo or whatever it's called. The sauce is watery. Not thin, no, I mean watery. It was like a thin broth sitting at the bottom of my plate. It's as if they drained the water from a can of whole tomatoes and a few stray chunks accidentally fell too. I actually used a strainer on my spaghetti at first, thinking maybe they just pulled it right from a pot without straining it perhaps. Nope. I found it odd that they hadn't added much sauce and when I poured the extra sauce container onto it, same effect. It's just how their sauce is. It's to the point where I feel like there MUST have been a mistake. A huge error somewhere along the way. This can't possibly be right. If anyone orders this and gets some delicious sauce with their order, then congratulations. Really. I'll never order again to find out. I tried my best to doctor it up with some salt and a heavy amount of parmesan cheese but I just couldn't do it despite having not eaten in nearly 12 hours.
They gave me a huge portion of spaghetti though, so there's that. "
