The aroma in the restaurant let's you know the food will be delicious and it definitely was! I was missing one order of 3 Pieces Tenders N Fries for one of my kids. But the portions are a decent size so I was able to split one meal between them and also split the Chicken Quesadilla. 2 Pork Chops were seasoned and fried very well. The turnip green had real turnips! The Mac and cheese and Sweet potatoes were the best combo. I'd give them a 10/10 even with the mishap!"

The Black Jack Chicken Sandwich was surprisingly plentiful, with TWO chicken breasts and plenty of toppings. The blackened spice is a little mild, but the taste is there. The gumbo is true dark rue gumbo and is delicious. Mine had very little rice, however. I would have liked more. They serve butter with the hushpuppies, which is the proper way to serve them, and I am now convinced that waffle fries are the best for cheese fries, after the Small Waffle Cheese Fries. The toppings were a little light, but I have come to expect that from restaurants lately. The Beignet Bites were simple and delicious with ample powdered sugar. I will be visiting this place in person and recommend you give it a try!"
