"Ordered the mini boil with crab legs, potatoes, and corn (garlic & butter sauce ) along with fried oysters and crab fries. The crab legs were cooked to perfection (didn't even need utensils to crack the crab). The sauce was ridiculously good; it was sweet (not sugar sweet but deliciously sweet). The potatoes and corn were equally delicious. Every time I bit into one of the fried oysters, the juice from within just popped out (not a complaint) again, cooked to perfection and mouth watering. I was actually in a food funk; nothing I thought of seemed appealing so my daughter recommended Hook & Reel; after reading the menu; the fried oysters stood out along with the crab legs so I decided to go with it. At first I thought it was a little pricey but for what I received and the excellence of the food; it was worth every penny. The sauces that accompanied the crab fries and oysters were also very good. "I never had this type of seafood before. It was a very interesting experience, fighting my food. It was good, I liked the crab much more than the lobster. It was sweet and soft. The lobster was thicker and tougher. The potatoes were well cooked but the corn needed a little more time. The garlic butter was good with a little salt added. The shrimp was very tender and well done. The garlic bread was okay but was very good with the garlic butter. I will try this again some day. On my store receipt it said $44 but DD says $52.80. When I arrived, the place was packed, and it was clear they were struggling to keep up with all the orders. My pick-up order wasn’t ready on time, and I ended up waiting much longer than expected. Several other customers waiting for takeout looked equally frustrated.
The food itself was fine—what you’d expect from Buffalo Wild Wings—but the delays took away from the experience. I get that they just opened and they’re still finding their rhythm, but hopefully, they’ll improve soon. For now, if you’re planning on ordering takeout, be prepared to wait."
