"I found Jack's in Newark when I was working up that way, and I loved it. I was excited to see we were getting one in San Jose. Better yet, the food has been just as good at this one.

I am used to having it from another place where you can basically cut the steak with your fork. The crust was ok but it was totally bland. I am pretty sure it's just a frozen piece of chicken fried steak that they just fry up when it's ordered. The Country Gravy was the best part. It wasn't all that flavorful either but out of the entire meal it had the most flavor and was decent. The eggs were cooked well and the hashbrowns were undercooked. We ordered a side of Pork Sausage and they were both good at all. I gave one to my dog and he wouldn't even eat it, so that should tell you something. Honestly, if I crave Chicken Fried Steak I have a go to and I will stick with them. The other place is a lot more but it's actually a quality meal. You get what you pay for here. And it's not anything to bring me back to try their breakfast again."

"Saba Grill continues to impress! Take my advice: get the Baghali Polo (dill-flavored rice with fava beans)! The dill adds a delightful but very mild flavor and the rice and beans are both soft but not mushy. It could be a meal by itself! I tried the chicken koobideh but decided I like the chicken breast skewers better: better seasoned and juicier, though the chicken koobideh is good too. Since there was a BOGO I tried the Zereshk Polo (rice with barberries) too: it was good but was slightly sweet, almost like cranberries or pomegranate arils, and the Baghali is way better IMO. I also previously tried the Shirazi salad which was fine but I thought it needed more tomatoes and fewer cukes and smaller onions and less oil and more seasoning. But overall, Saba Grill is great!"

"I will love this food until I die. The quality of ingredients is fresh, the proportions are perfect so you can taste all the elements, and I have dreams about the perfection of the falafel. I've had it catered once at my own event and it was catered twice at other events after mine based off my suggestion, and literally everyone fell in love with it too. The chipotle toum side is one of my favorite things to dip the falafel by the piece in. I was sad to see that there were some big inconsistencies in the fullness of the toum sides I ordered, because their prices have gone up (still reasonable in range for the quality). I couldn't afford to commit to the 25 dollar jar, but some of the cups weren't even half full at $1.30. Even with this in mind, I'm still coming back and I'll continue to enjoy this food as long as I can still afford it. Oh, and DEFINITELY get the molasses on the lamb/beef wrap.
