"This restaurant is what I call Destination (not neighborhood) Chinese. Every neighborhood has an inexpensive what I call Red Top restaurant. Good for cheap fried stuff and dishes with gloppy sauces and lots of vegetables. NOT HERE. Here the dishes are subtle, well-sauced, and FULL of flavor. Every darn dish is good although I will say go for the Chengdu regional dishes and ignore the American-style cuisine if you can. "Ho Fen Shrimp 虾河粉 had an excessive amount of onions more than the noodles or shrimp, it needed more vegetables & flavor. Sautéed Beef with Scallion was not bad but rather salty & it also needed some vegetable other than just scallion & onions. The Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (6)玲珑小笼包 had a decent amount of soup but the skins were too thick & flavor just ok. The Pan-Fried Pork Buns (6) were mostly dough very little filling & not much flavor. Wouldnt get any of these again. I liked the flavor of the Chinese Burger w.Lamb 羊肉夹馍r though it's not a burger but rather pieces of lamb kind of like shwarma but with cumin in a kind of bao bun. It would have used some sauce so I added tzatziki I had at home. Overall this cost over $80 and I didn't really enjoy most of it so it was disappointing. "
