"Mi Familia has been my absolute favourite pizza place to order from ever since moving to South Jersey a year ago. Most places have been insanely disappointing due to my city high standards. I typically get the Southwestern Chicken Salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and it is HUGE, delicious, fresh, crisp, all over amazing. I've ordered other menu items before as well, and have not been disappointed thus far in anything I've had. Their small salads are quite large, and their large salads even larger. "I'm an odd ball I guess. I directed to have the vinegar, actually, extra vinegar, to be put onto the inside of the bread vs putting it on top of the sandwich ingredients(It keeps the vinegar from running out and gives you a dash of vinegar in each bite), which many sub shops ignore. Not at Steak Out! Aside from the their subs, particularly 1/2# steak, the sandwiches are huge, I'm very happy how they they paid attention to their customers requests. They didn't cheap out on tomatoes( and they weren't sour) or other ingredients. I asked for less of the usual amount of onions(another special request) and I got a lesser amount. It all might seem a bit anal, but when you order food, you want it 'your way.' Steak Out gets it. We ordered cheesesteaks when a friend stopped by. This more fussier man than I, said this was one of the best steaks he's ever had. When I lived in the My Holly area, I used to order food from that location. I didn't know they had 2 stores, so I was thrilled when I found them here too. I highly recommend everything on their menu. "Overall, I get the essence of home... an authentic dish from my titi's house. However, sometimes the pernil is absolutely perfect and other times it's very dry. The only time we get the right amount of rice is if we ask for no salad. I find the salad to be a waste because it's already dressed and arrives soggy. We love salad, just not soggy. I understand the restaurant uses good containers but they are children sized portions for quite a bit of money. I dine at fine restaurants and well appointed restaurants where the dishes are more expensive than their street counterparts, but the portions and the quality of the food command the prices. I would increase my rating to at least a four if mi amigos would consider improving their portions and making sure the pernil is succulent each time. Gracias!!"

I could barely eat about a third of it; I found it a bit dry, in fact. The eggs were okay but they were more fried medium, not over easy as I requested. The yolks were fairly solid, not liquid. I liked the rye toast which was lightly toasted and wrapped separately so was nice and not soggy in the container like some restaurants do. It was pretty good, though, if not perfect, and I would try Amy's again I think, and choose something else next time. Everything was hot and I always appreciate that.
