Not to sound like some wanna be Yelp crittic or something, because this is my first review (and probably only) and I am only leaving it because when you have a string of unforunate events and theres one thing that kinda lifts your spirits time after time, you gotta give thanks. The Firehouse Italian Sub is always my go to. I won't go anywhere else in NC. The Italian IMHO has a perfection combination and amount of meats (you can get 2x meat if youre trying bulk or just a big eater), with veggies that only compliment the sandwhich, and a great sauce for extra flavor, all in between what is in my personal opinion the best bread I can find at any sub shop/ deli in the South. It is always authentically warm and toasty unlike other places that have "toasters" leaving your food feeling... Off. So when life gives you lemons, order Firehouse. "
