"We ordered from China House for the first time today and we were so impressed with everything that we added them as a favorite and we are looking forward to trying other items in their menu. We got the Vegetables Fried Rice / 素菜炒飯 and it was good. They even added snow peas which added texture and crunch. We also ordered Mu-Shu Chicken / 木須雞 and even without the very thin pancakes, it was so very tasty. We also ordered the General Chicken / 左宗棠雄 which is the house specialty for good reasons. The spiciness level was perfect, and its flavor was on point. It was hard to stop eating this food because it was so good. Time to get stretchy pants!"

"The Szechuan Beef tastes great and there's a decent portion. The Honey Crisp Walnut Shrimp is also one of our favorites. The House Fried Rice is pretty standard. You can see the two big shrimp on top in my picture. Those are the only two shrimp in the whole container. My biggest criticism right now (and from previous orders) is they only give one soy sauce packet. We order at least 3 different items each time but they seem to be rationing their soy sauce."

"Review from a fellow Chinese person: Pork Postickers (8) is super large in size compared to other places, but not pan fried crispy enough. Still too soft. Egg Fried Rice about average-good. Not greasy and nice eggy flavor. Large portion. Pork XiaoLongBao (8) the best out of the pickings imo. Thin delicate skin that doesn't disintegrate from picking it up. Wish there was more soup inside. Great sauce to go with it tho. How to eat: Chew off the top (twisted top) of the dumpling and then pour the sweet sauce into it like a cup, and enjoy. Black & Gold Molten Lava Bun (3) really good soft and dough-y bun! Buns baked right! Still getting accustomed to the sweet oil inside the bun which gives it a "lava" effect, compared to the OG custard buns, this is really runny in a oily way. Get it for the experience, but don't get it if you dislike oily texture. Shrimp Dumplings (10) you get 10 pieces. A bit smaller on size, but that's because the skin is nice and thin (other places have thicker skin). Good choice. "

"I don't know if it was an off day. If you serve Pork Lumpia (6) serve the sauce. Give either vinegar or sweet chili sauce if nothing else. Serve the food correctly prior sending it off to DoorDash, the Pan Fried Pork Bun (6)is more like a pork soup dumpling (see pictures). First bite got all over my coat, and it's pretty bland. Both this and the lumpia taste like they were microwaved and/or quickly fried. The Shanghai Chowmein was overly oily. Lacked almost any flavor through the oil but was a decent portion. Try Teapot if you're looking for something similar and far better quality that has actual flavor. These three items with tip was $57 which is robbery."

"This was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the American Dream Roll and The *Alameda Roll for delivery. I was a little skeptical when I saw the rolls packaged in sandwich size plastic clam shells, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I took a bite and realized how big and full ech piece was! Normally a single roll is a decent snack for me, and I need about 1.5-2 rolls to fill full. I was only able to eat the equivalent of 1 roll and I was stuffed. Both rolls tasted great! They were beautifully decorated, tasted as described in the details (which is important to me), and filled me up without having to eat multiple rolls. I'm very pleased with my order and will definitely be back for more!"
