I was waiting outside for 30 mins for my order to be completed because it kept saying "being prepared" and I figured like every other restaurant today Benihana was backed up. I went in and asked how much longer the order would be. And the hostess picked up a bag at the table and handed it to me. The bag felt cold like it was sitting for a while.
I didn't get half my order. I was missing the rice. I got two tiny shrimp for my shrimp appetizer. 3 pieces of zucchini. The soup was mainly the onion and mushrooms no broth. The salad container was barely full. The gyoza dumplings didn't come with sesame soy sauce. The chicken and steak were overcooked. And I didn't get the extra sauces I requested. I only 1 yum yum sauce. Not even a ginger sauce.
This was my Valentine's Day Dinner for myself and it was the worst experience I have had with Benihana."
