The chipotle mayo gave it the nice little kick it needed. Although, it would've been better to have the guac on the side so it stays cool and fresh until it's ready to be eaten. It kind of got lost in the mix because of the heat from the chicken. Still yummy though! The sides are just mediocre. Nothing to rave about... but the chicken is where it's at! "I love San diegos and go there everytime, but without fail my Rice is always skimped and this time it didnt even cover the bottom of the bowl so i felt i had to share. First of all it's $3 for a side of rice when i know it's no more than 50 cents max to make but whatever they have to make their money. But when my rice isn't even covering the bottom of the bowl it's a problem. Especially when the buisness is close to shutting down due to prices and lack of buisness, you would think they give you a good amount or AT LEAST what you pay for but no. Just wont be getting the rice anymore, the rest of the food is alwys great even the beans they give you a good portion."

"The food was so good it made me leave a review for the first time. The Daily Baked Chicken (Half) was tender and well seasoned. Mashed potatoes soft and the gravy was complimentary. The broccoli and cheese rice was nostalgic. The Lemon Icebox Pie was delicious and well decorated. The meal reminds me of a home cooked meal, which I greatly appreciate since i'm in college."

"The baked chicken was so good and moist, and the carrot souffle' was delicious. The turnip greens were perfectly seasoned and the jalapeño cornbread was an added treat. Most important is that the food was wrapped securely. Next time, drain the turnip green juice because it was wasted inside of the bag and caused the bread to get somewhat wet."
