"This is my go to spot. They honor the notes to a T. The food is always good and fresh. If I'm ever indecisive on what to get, this is my safe place. Small fried rice can last me two meals. Large can last 3-4, with a full plate. And bbq tips, are sauced up. Definitely worth the price every time!"

"TheSautéed Steak Chunk with Black Pepper Sauce didn't have sauce, just a coating of pepper and other spices. The dish was superb - very tender and full of flavor. The Orange Duck (1/2) was also delicious - the sauce came separately so the duck stayed crisp. The beef Short Rib with Black Pepper appetizer was juicy and surprisingly tender. We got a huge container of nice steamed rice. All were good portions. The soy Soy Sauce Chicken is always excellent, as are the pork buns.
We will definitely be ordering again. We are so happy they are now available to us in DC."

And if I had ordered rice and noodles, the cost would have just been way too much! Since the food was just okay, I would not order again. Maybe I should have ordered whatever the restaurant specializes in which appears to be dumplings. The fish was not crispy and had to be put in the air fryer. That may have been because of the distance between my home and the restaurant since I reheated the soup as well."

"Umm umm good. This was my ce first time having Taiwan Rice Noodle and it was so delicious. Absolutely scrumptious. The spice level was perfect and evenly distributed throughout the entire dish. The noodles were fresh as well as the chicken, beef and shrimp. I added soy sauce very sparingly to ensure it was nicely salted but not too salty. "Delightfully yummy. Both items I ordered Chicken Wonton Soup and Ma Po's Bean Curd were wholesome. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food. The Chicken Wonton Soup has four dumplings that are pretty large and a bunch of broth. I was a little sick so made me feel better. I didnt like the fritters that go with it though they were kinda stale but I also ordered pretty late. The Ma Po's Bean Curd was so good. I usually crave ma po tofu but wanted something less heavy and this was that it had so many veggies and the tofu was soft and the bean curd sauce was really nice actually spicy. Overall I was really happy with it. Will definitely get the tofu again. "

I've said it before and will say it again, this store is a highly underated local gem in Vienna, and one of the BEST chinese restaurants in DMV. Unlike many other stores, they cook their White Rice perfectly well - moist and soft, not overly moist yet most importantly not dry and hard like many other stores do. White Rice is one of THE most important components when it comes to chinese cooking because the dishes need to go with rice, and if the dishes are cooked well but the rice is not, the meal is spoiled.
