This hasn't happened before, and don't think it should stop you from ordering... but something to keep in mind for consistency. The D12. Sweet Sticky Rice w/ Thai Custard rice was a little gummy, but custard was light and fluffy. The Thai-ny Boat Noodle was nice to get to try a small portion. I ordered the pork, and it was very rich if also a little sweeter than I prefer, however I also ordered it mild this time since first time trying this place, and more heat would offset the sweetness. "The Scallion Korean Pancake with seafood was tasty and had a generous amount of seafood in it, including what tasted like scallops (but maybe it was hwangtae-po?) and moon snails, but it was not fully cooked. I don't know if this is because I ordered near closing, but it's unacceptable regardless. The pancake wasn't crispy, and in fact it was so unfinished that it had to be eaten with a knife and fork because it was so soggy and flaccid that the slices kept falling apart when I tried to hold it with my fingers. If the dish had been given the time to cook that it needed, it would've been good albeit expensive at $20. The golbangee muchim was okay. The scallions weren't julienned and were soggy and floppy due to being uncut. I there was some sort of other non-traditional floppy greenery in the dish that I also didn't care for, maybe it was some sort of diced cabbage? It wasn't kimchi. I would've preferred a more traditional recipe without it as the leftovers were even less ideal from it"

"I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to this time. The Braised Pork and Rice (Khoa Ka Moo) is the best I have tasted in a long, long time. Bone marrow? Check. Perfectly tender pork skin? Check. Meat marinated to perfection? Check! And the rice was perfect. With a dish like this, the rice can make or break it, because you can't really eat the pork without it. It's one of those basic thing that so many places screw up because it's hard to care about repetitive, simple things. Sokitchen cares, you can taste it. "My review is mixed- and I will start with , I will likely try the food again. When I received the order the bag was busted up and the food was also shaken up. I noticed when I got the food inside the the white rice from the lobster sauce order was missing. Needless to say here is my review on each thing ordered. The chicken wings were cooked to my request of xtra well done. The jumbo shrimp fried rice was missing the flavor I expected and the text of the shrimp was mushy. The general gaus chicken was not good to me... it too was a mushy text, too saturated in the general gau sauce and lacking a particular flavor. The singapore rice noodles were great- not over salted which I appreciated and they were very flavorful. The spring rolls were really good. I like the taste of this restaurants sweet and sour sauce and the boneless spareribs were cooked really well and tasted really good. The lobster sauce was also tasty and not over salty. While the jumbo fried rice and genral gau's was dissatisfying- I did enjoy the other food. I would try the restaurant again. They did have a sub gum option for the rice that I didnt choose- so perhaps that is why it was flavorless. I just dont know what sub Gum is. "
