"I rarely ever leave reviews for anything, however Hook's is by far the best restaurant for the incredible food at unbelievable low prices. I have always loved Gyros, I have been going to Grecian Delight for over 20 years because I love their Gyros. Until I ordered one from Hook's about 6 months ago. Hook's Gyro is HUGE, and so incredibly delicious! Nothing can compare to the inc taste and the gigantic size. They are bigger than burrito that you get from Hot Heads, they are loaded with a ton of delicious meat then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I order one at least once a week and could never get tired of them because they really do taste that amazing. For around $12 you are getting a gyro so large it is almost impossible to eat all of it at once and fries are included. You can barley get a nasty combo meal at the chain restaurants for that price. I also LOVE their breaded mushrooms! Hook's is amazing. I'm not sure how it is possible but it tastes better every time I eat there. I recommend Hook's to absolutely loves delicious quality food, and thank God they keep it so affordable too."

"The fries are on the soggy/limp size. May be because I ordered within the last 40 minutes of them being open. The chicken was crispy, but not as flavour as I thought they would be. For the amount of food, it's a fair price. Just wish the fries had more crispness to them and the chicken had more seasoning. Other than that, not a bad late night meal for the price. "

Usually a loaf or half of loaf of their bread is included. It was not. If it's important to you, I suggest paying the extra money and having one sent. "

"The food came piping hot which is how I like it. They packaged it well, the salads did leak a little despite their efforts however they were filled to the max with food in the container whichi appreciate! The lamb biriyani is delicious with juicy soft chunks of lamb that have been marinated and cooked perfectly. I got a spice level 3 or medium for all the food and it was as expected. I requested no peas and also had a special request for the chicken curry which were both followed through! The curry was also good and even better with garlic naan to dip. I enjoyed the daal /lentil soup especially since you can request a spice level. All the salads I ordered were fresh and tasty; the chicken salad wasn't what I expected but my mistake and it tasted good but im saving this for lunch tomorrow (I was thinking spreadable chicken salad and it was a salad with chicken). Overall im happy with everything received, great service with special requests which i'm glad they kept this field open while ordering. Many restaurants chose to not take special requests and it makes it difficult with food sensitivities. We will be ordering again :) "

"Is $19 a lot of money for a burger and fries? Yes. Is The Fungi-D to Happiness worth $19? Also yes. This is a hefty, flavorful, fresh burger. It's filling, doesn't skimp, and is satisfying. I only take off one star because they failed to cook my burger medium rare as requested (this is the only time that has happened. Previous orders were perfect), and they didn't provide napkins even though I requested them. Their description is that it's a 6 napkin burger (it is!), so you'd think napkins would be a given. That said, I will order again (and again and ...) because it is that unique, that delicious, that special. If you love fresh burgers made with topnotch meat and mushrooms, this is the only burger you'll ever need!"
