Unfortunately the sandwich arrived with green peppers for some reason which messed up what I was going for with this sandwich. It was still an okay sandwich, but not as I planned for when ordering the way I did. I typically don't go out of my way to complain, but this place has made errors several times now with my orders. The issues of when they opened till today is pretty apparent especially when compared to their sister store Divinos which is fantastic always for me. Hope they can get it sorted. That said, the portion was great as was the quality and freshness, but it's just not what I ordered."

For every pound of cheese purchased through our online retail shop, we will donate a pound of our new "Giving Gouda" to the Food Bank! Buy 6 lbs. of cheese, we'll donate a whole wheel! While you may think of Gouda and picture the red wax-coated form in the supermarket, the term "Gouda" refers more to the style of cheesemaking than the actual cheese. Similar to our Gouda-style beer cheeses, this is a "washed curd" cheese, but rather than washing the curds in beer, these are washed with water. This helps remove extra lactose, resulting in a sweeter and more mild cheese. The curds are then pressed into a round mold and brined for 3 days before spending a few weeks in our aging cave.
