I could fit the ham slice and the eggs on a saucer with the scrambled eggs taking up the greater slice. I spent $30 on a breakfast where the sliced ham was smaller than my Neti pot. the biscuits are still big and tall, but not as flavorful as they used to be. The country style gravy still tasted good. However, I think someone ran over my cinnamon rolls before frying them in the French toast batter. They were small and flat with very little cinnamon taste. What happened to those big fluffy rolls with the ooey gooey caramelized cinnamon dripping down onto the plate? I can make Pillsbury at home. I looked at the desserts as I was deciding what to order; whatever happened to those marvelous pies we used to be able to get? Ever since Covid hit, it's like these restaurants that were some of the best just quit trying. They don't offer the same selections: menus have been pared down to almost nothing; the portions have shrunk considerably; oh, but the prices have been jacked up; and the flavors, well it's like the cooks are in junior high home economics. I wish we could get back to pre-covid standards. I miss my old diners. Can someone please tell me where they are buried so I can put down some flowers while my taste buds and stomach mourns."

With that said, we ordered the Mrs.Pickle on Dutch crunch and my husbands difficult and annoying, "create your own " sandwhich which had so many modifications and substitutions it annoyed me just putting it in my phone. Anyway, usually subway or any other sandwich shop does not follow his (slightly ridiculous) requests. Making for a very awkward lunch for me bec the old ball n chain is constantly upset and in disgust with his meal. But, not with this sandwhich shop, they're on point every time. And i find it comforting and reliable to know im not wasting my hard earned money and calories on food I didnt even want or enjoy. Beyond that the favors are delicious and I do appreciate that complimentary cookie they offer as well. Mr. Pickles keeps it above average and thats why they deserve 5 stars to me :)"

"Wendy's Chili is always very good, but this time it was surprising. I'd ordered it with cheese and onions (as I usually do),I was instantly disappointed by how little cheese I saw on top of the Chili and I couldn't see any onions at all! However, when I put my spoon in I saw some onion and when I stirred a little more, I saw more onion, "ah, ok, so they stirred them in for some reason", I thought. Then I dipped my spoon in for the first bite; taste test before stirring in the miser's amount of cheese, and as I lifted the spoon I was surprised by the cheese strings coming with it! I took another spoonful out and got more cheese strings! They had stirred the cheese and onions into the chili and then just sprinkled a little more cheese on the top. Whoever did that, you are a genius! The time it took to finish my order, bag it up and hand it to my dasher, and he gets it to me, allowed the cheese to melt enough so that when I went to take a bite I got those wonderful strings."

"I liked the 5PC Tenders. They had a good flavor and were cooked good and were true to Texas style. The hot sauce surprised me, I see you guys were trying to do something different but I'm not a fan of the hot sauce. I put some Louisiana Red Hot on it instead and it was pretty good with it. To be true to Texas style you gotta have the white southern style gravy with the Tenders. The massive sweet tea was good and true to Texas style also. The biscuit was also fluffy and good. A slice of Texas toast would also go good with it. All this good southern style Texas food soothes and satisfies my soul because I grew up and lived in Texas and this food takes me back. My Grandma in Texas used to make fried chicken with mashed potatoes, corn with biscuits and cornbread and some Southern style Sweet Tea and it doesnt get any better than that!"

"Highly recommend. The Oxtail Bolognese Lasagne was so good and the Deconstructed Bruschetta was so fresh. The bread and butter provided was also a surprise and delicious."

"We orded a few things to try. PLUSES: Avocado Tartine and poached eggs. They do poached eggs well. Potatoes side was good. HALF PLUS:. Savory was good as to the toppings but the pancake was just ok, I ended up putting the toppings from the Savory pancakes on the Potatoes side and poured Hollandaise from the Crab Cake which was very good. Hollandaise sauce is a thumbs up, it came with the crabcakes which weren't great. NON PLUSES: The Crab Cake with poached eggs hollandaise come on toasted bread. Crabcakes were really pressed flat and had a not so fresh strong taste. They were flat and floppy on the bread, not what I expected. We did not eat. They ran out of the cake I ordered and substituted Cheesecake of the Week | Picture subject to Change Weekly and I wish they had refunded instead. Cheesecake was like German chocolate type cheesecake and I did not care for it at all. It didn't seem fresh, the whipped topping was kind of dried out and I didn't eat it."
