"Our go to fish and chips. Its a family business and they know what works. They're always fast, pack everything up right off the grill whilst you're there, so it's not stale and they dont skimp on the salt (they ask, so you dont have to have salt if thats your preferrence). Everything is a good portion (your not going to go hungry) and service is friendly. They also never forget the lemon wedges. If youre local and youve never tried these guys, youre missing out."

"Confused by some of the recent reviews because I loved my first (surely not my last) order of Chicken Lads.
The Loaded Chicken Gravy Chips (mine were minus cheese) were delicious, with a generous amount of gravy and a decent amount of good pieces of boneless chicken.
The Roasted Vegetable Medley was a decent size, and definitely filling. This was cold (premade), so not the freshest, but I dont know that you'd want it warm and it came with an array if vegies which was really nice (not a salad with 3 ingredients). And whilst it did have elements that some would consider "soggy", I think it was well balanced by crunchier vegetebles too.
Medium Sweet Potato Chips were honestly some of the best ive had in some time. I dont like crunch if I get no flavour, so this was right for me. I have a feeling they will leave some divided though. I also appreciate that I was left with the option to pay for "fancier" sauce or just have tomato sauce or no sauce. Dont pay for what you won't use."
