An extra pita and a small fry. These folks need to talk with their fry person. The fries were sad. Hardly fried at all and the falafels were hammered. Way overdone. And everything was just thrown randomly into a clamshell. So I had falafel in the hummus and the pitas were all wet from condensation. It wasn't appetizing, and considering that this order cost over 40 bucks they should have done better. I spent a lot of years in the business and I know how important consistency is and this is going to be a problem here. BTW the grilled chicken was not very good. Tough little nugs of fairly flavorless chicken. The gyro meat was a much better choice when I ordered last time. This place has real potential but they need to work on some things. "I absolutely love Desi Bites! Everything is just so tasty and you really can't beat the value for how large the portions sizes are. I particularly like their Special Biryiani. One of my favorite non-meat options is the Malai Kofta which are these American football shaped fritters that are made from potatoes and other veg and they are cooked in a really nice, thick curried gravy that you could just about eat on a flip-flop...lol! Don't forget the garlic naan, plenty of raita, and a mango lassi to help keep the heat down and if this is your first time eating here (or even better if it's your first time with Indian food, ) it could change your life!
