"Ive eaten there for years now and got to know the owners well, theyre truly genuine people who actually care about their customers and their quality of ingredients that go into every dish. They're commited to providing truly authentic food and made from fresh produce, seafood, pork, chicken, beef and lamb. Once you eat their food you will not want to eat anywhere else. If there is something you don't understand they will take the time to explain it to you and answer any questions you may have. They aren't concerned with people being lined up out the door but more concerned with a quality experience for the customers they do have. The rest will follow. This is the ONLY DD order I've ever gotten that tasted like I was sitting in the middle of the restaurant. It was packaged with care, extra sauces that they make homeade in house were with the meal in small little cups and I didnt even ask for them. These folks are truly outstanding and the food is a direct reflection of that.

The dessert is very sweet and flavorful you could even pair it with plain yogurt and that would cut the sweetness and make a great topping. You could probably serve two people with that little cup placed on top of a serving of yogurt. They also included a 2nd cup of this evenings selected dessert. That was very nice. I went ahead and got a mango drink and a coconut drink just to test them out and they were excellent. I preferred the mango drink. It is very rich and delicious. "I remember now why I quit ordering DD. The food is never good and it's not DD's fault. The hush puppies were burnt, the ribs were burnt, the pulled pork equated to barely a tablespoon and mostly hard, inedible pieces and while the tenders were big and still warm they were well done and heavily breaded. They couldn't be bothered to fill the tiny bowl with potato salad and I didnt even open the green beans at that point. We ate (1) tender, my dogs choked down a hp and a pinch or two of the pork. I managed to get maybe one bite from 1 center rib of 4. When you spend this kind of money you should at least get your moneys worth and food that is edible. I used to go to the one in Indian Land a long time ago and it was always awesome but this one is horrible dine in and out. I have given too many chances telling myself it was just a fluke but clearly this location is no good. I hate to leave a bad review but I am not going to sit here with nearly $50 worth of food for a SHACK SAMPLER PLATE and a HUSHPUPPIES which in itself is ridiculous and it also not be edible. I am so very disappointed. "
