"This was amazing! I hadn't been to Esmaralda's in a while and had never tried their Puffy Tacos til tonight, but I have been missing out! The ground beef was especially good- it had a surprising amount of flavor, and the shells were really crispy. Like a more portable version of a taco salad :) This with some French fries was a nice change to the usual Mexican dishes (although their chimichangas are also great). I only had half the order of fries in the photo and that was plenty to fill me up. Will definitely order this again!"

"The flavors remind me of a little place I usedto visit located in the back of a Mexican grocer's. It isnt "fancy" by anystretch of the imagibation but the glavorsare quite nice. The guacamole is quite rich and the cheese enchiladas have a divine amount of cheese. The standout for me was the chile Pablano, I will definitely be ordering that again. Wow! Great prices, good portions, glad to find them!"

The bacon was unique and surprisingly tasty and I went ahead and ate the first burger with it on but removed it from the second one. The bacon was soft not hard and crunchy. I would probably buy it again but the fact remains I ordered both burgers without it and my request was not honored."

"While our first experiece was far from perfect (having had them forget both our egg roll and spring roll orders) the QUALITY of the food and portion sizes are amazing while the fried rice is a little salty, the noodle option is a 10/10. One can get great fried rice anywhere, but noodle this good? Not so much. Sure, the prices might SEEM high, but only until a container is in your hand. They have HEFT, and it isn't just a load of cheap carbs. The ratio of meat to sides is great, and will satisfy all but the most rigorous carnivore. Despite a rocky first experience, I would be a fool not to give this place another chance. Yeah, the food *is* that good."
