"We ordered the es cendol with extra durian and paid extra for it, but there was no durian at all, and only a small amount of cendol filling. It also had too much ice, which made it even more disappointing. The Nasi Kapau, which is a Minangkabau dish known for its rich and strong flavors, was just okay and could definitely be better. It lacked the depth of flavor you would normally expect, although the green chilli sambal was quite good."

The most disappointing of all was the kaya toast - totally DIYable at home with a few slices of bread and kaya from any store. The sweet kuih, don't even bother. You get one tiny lonely piece, for the $2.20 you pay for... If you're brave enough, the rice dishes could be worth a shot, but stay away from the kaya toast and kuih -- just not worth it!"

"Following a suggestion from Doordash I decided to try Asian Golden Wok rather than the outlets that I regularly use. Unfortunately the Kway Teow was average at best and the Curry Laksa just had an overwhelming taste of pepper, but not much else. The $5.00 rice was equivalent to a half of cup of uncooked rice, so if you are feeding more than one person I recommend ordering extra or cooking your own at that price. The spring rolls and curry puffs were nice, so I guess that is a positive. "
