For $17, the portion was overwhelmingly rice-heavy, with only 2 drumsticks and a very small piece of breast, which felt like poor value. The rice was also noticeably oily. The overall experience was made worse by poor communication. When I called the listed number, there was no introduction of the business, and I had to say hello multiple times before getting a response. On top of that, the order had to be reassigned after a driver left without the food, which added to the confusion and delay. While that may not be entirely on the restaurant, it reflects a lack of coordination. Even small details were disappointing—the utensils provided were extremely small and impractical. Overall, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Between the lack of clarity, poor value, and communication issues, I would not order again—especially with better halal options in the area."

"Not consistent, forgets toppings often. I order the garden state bowl every time (at least 8 times now) sometimes it comes with the crispy onions and sometimes it doesn't. most times it comes on a very large bowl that I can make two meals out of. Twice it was delivered in a very shallow oval bowl only about half the size as the round one. I also order the churro sticks often, most times it comes with skinny churros in a bowl over flowing with them. Then a few times it only came with 4 or 5 slightly thicker churros to the point that the container looks almost empty, and there's no way the 4 or 5 thicker ones even come close to the same weight or volume as the skinner churros. It's a shame too because their food is excellent"

"First time trying this place and it will not be the last. The Wings (grilled) were great even after about a 20mins drive, would suggest a little added garlic powder/salt but otherwise; A-ok. The Short Rib tacos were very good and so were the rice and beans that came with. The Meat was super tender and salsa was nice and fresh, only thing is I do wish it came with some sour cream or guacamole on the side as an option; But even without they were great. And last but not least... the reason I will be coming back---> the Boatyard Bowl was so fresh and great amounts of everything from radishes, edamame, to the super fresh cuts of fish and the wasabi mayo, ginger dressing and ponzu are all great additions to truly elevate the flavors. All in all a 10/10 must try spot! "

The chicken sandwich seemed rubbery and undercooked, one order of wings was charred and burned and the pita chips with the crab dip was also burned. The burned set of wings must have been so hot that when they put the sauce in on the side (I ordered plain grilled wi ga with three different sauces on the side to try) the plastic container melted dumping out one of the sauces all over the wings rendering the other sauces useless. "So I'll start with the good. their fried rice is very good, as well as the egg rolls. With that said this kung pao chicken, was a Kung pow disaster in my book. The only vegetables were carrots and celery, oh and 3 pieces, yes I counted , of green pepper, and some peanuts were thrown on top. okay I can handle that, what bothered me the most is the chicken itself. It is tiny little deep fried morsels of chicken. but it's not even like a real bite of chicken it's more breading than anything. There were only a few that would equate to popcorn chicken size. And I don't know what spices they use, if any, but to me all it tasted like was that it was doused in hot sauce and not a very good hot sauce at that. I've had there general's chicken and it was good, so I'm hoping this is just an isolated incident."
