"We were really disappointed based on other recent reviews, but gave 3 stars because portions are very generous. The good: The tortillas are much bigger than I'm used to seeing for tacos, the tacos had plenty of meat and they had lots of cilantro and onion on top. The bad: The chicken in the chimichanga and taco had no flavor. Like, zero seasoning. And it was really dry. The barbacoa was tasty, but dry, and my campechano taco was tasty but also had a hard bone the size of a cherry in it, which I luckily caught before breaking a tooth. I also found other small bones in my chicken taco and the entire joint of a chicken thigh in my tamale, which was rojo and not verde like I ordered. I've never had a tamale with bone-in meat before, so I found this odd. It also lacked favor and the tamale dough was plasticky and not tasty at all. I tossed most of it. I will continue looking for great Mexican food in the area. Sadly, this ain't it. "

"The 4 Pollo / Chicken Tacos were hearty, the Tortilla was soft and sturdy. The Flautas were enjoyable and had a nice crispy roll with a generous portion of toppings. The Grilled Cactus / Spring Onion / Chile Combo was fresh and char-grilled perfectly, it was as you should expect. Guacamole with Chips was also a hearty portion, fresh and crispy chips, and the guac had something special to the flavor making it one of the best in the area we've tried. Our drinks were all delicious, the Tamarindo / Tamarind and Jamaica / Hibiscus were very enjoyable in particular, and the Horchata was good. The Chicken soup / Sopa de Pollo had a beautiful home-made smell and lots of soothing flavor. This restaurant was a nice find!"

I don't know if it's new cooks or but this was not the same as when I use to order last year. the Flautas lettuce was old and not the right one. The prep of the food was not the same and I asked for extra crema and it barely had any. The Carne Asada Tacos were packaged either rushed or with no care because when opened they were all apart.
