"Ordered the Boneless Bucket, food was pretty good but the bucket was half empty (it's pretty expensive, so I thought that the bucket should at least be full, I could be wrong though). "Dangerously good fried chicken. I had the 6-piece Combo 1 and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I find undercooking can be a common issue with fried chicken places, but everything was thoroughly and safely cooked, and never overcooked or dried out.
The skin was crispy and not too greasy, but was very lightly seasoned- not an issue for me since I had ordered some flavorful and hearty gravy on the side. If I hadn't added the gravy, I'd probably dig some of my own seasoning out, or at least toss on a generous helping of pepper. The fries were golden and crispy with no sogginess at all.
Chicks R Us keeps things simple, but you can taste the care and attention they put into the food they make. If fired chicken is your comfort food, I don't think you'll do better in Pictou County."

"The beef burger was smaller than a McDonald's burger but cost more. The poutine was not cheese curds like it shows in the menu add but just mozzarella and the chicken was good but basically cold. The fries by themselves were actually good. The spaghetti was strange to say the least. The sauce is very sweet and there is cut up hot dogs mixed in with it. Probably would not order again especially for the price."
