They were very mild and allowed the flavors to come through including the crab meat which again was cooked perfectly in my opinion. I had one of the hush puppies and they were very delicious well done and crunchy on the outside soft in the middle. Good balance of corn flavor and sweet and savory. Will eat the rest as leftovers. 12 small but perfectly sized for a mouthful and extremely reasonably priced for what you're getting. "Holy crap, so flavorful! I can't believe I haven't ordered from here before tonight. The Guava Natural Juice was wonderful, without being too sweet. I will definitely order again. The Seco Bowl is absolutely incredible. I added a few options, including the onion salsa, sour cream, spicy sauce. I won't add the sweet plantains again, but would love to be able to order them as a separate side item. The 2 tamales are for lunch tomorrow, so I can't review flavor. It smells wonderful. After I ordered, the business called me very quickly and said they only had 1 2 tamales left, which is very common. They asked if there was anything they could substitute, so I got my side order of plantanos 😂. Fried, sweet plantains for the unfamiliar. I was very happy with the call and quiet solution.
