There is so much batter (and oil) that the meat pieces look like a donut or something you get from a bakery. This is a cheap way for the restaurant to add bulk to the dish while keeping the amount of meat the customer gets very small. If I had known this ( or if the menu had stated that ), I would not have ordered these dishes. The sauces are okay and there are some veggies, but the bulk of my $31 dollar meal is oil and batter. "I order from this place many times, almost every other week or so, but recently the last 2 orders aren't as good as the quality went down. The sushi rice both times isn't as moist as before where some rolls break apart. I usually order the same rolls, and both recent times, the fish on top of the rolls are skimpy. The 10 piece nigiri chef mix I ordered today has 2 old pieces of tuna on top meaning they are brownish-grey (lost of color), and has a funky smell like they been sitting out too long and not kept cold on ice. I still ate parts that were kind of "red" because I was hungry. The other fish pieces were good. I don't know if you're starting to skimp and use old fish because business is losing money or you hired a new sushi chef that isn't good. I'm giving 4 stars now because hopefully you'll bounce back."
