"Leaving a review because I was hoping to find out through reviews what the white sauce was and if it was the traditional toum, and while it saves the dish, it tastes closer to a Caesar dressing.
The chicken was good quality but just had a lot of one spice like curry or something instead of a good variety of Mediterranean spices. With the sauce and French fries, I still felt I could order here again...
But, then there is the lean cuisine quality bland rice... like, good maybe if you're at a hospital cafeteria in the Middle East, but not GOOD. Rice tastes better without seasoning then whatever went wrong with this rice.
I paid extra for a side of pita that tastes like under cooked pie dough, so I wont be doing that again.
Overall, if you get the Chicken Over Rice, get it with fries and extra sauce and you can get over the cafeteria taste and get your chicken shawarma fix, the fries and sauce save the dish!
