"As in times past, I was really looking forward to my Guthrie's chicken strips box meal. Generally, I would have rated four-stars because it's always fresh, tender, and still hot! 😋 Unfortunately, today, I think I got the box that had been sitting out for a while. Chicken and fries were barely warm and were dry; the chicken seemed overcooked, and the slaw had a weird stale taste and seemed a bit dry and anemic looking. Also, I do not believe this was the fault of the driver because they were here in almost record time - which was another clue that my meal had likely been sitting out for a bit at the restaurant . This is my first "bad" experience with Guthries....I'm hoping it was just a fluke and an 'off' day for someone..... ...P.S.... what's with not including ketchup?! Previously, that would have been my only complaint. Sorry Guthrie's, I always gladly pay the $$$ for the meal, however - in this case- and with the cost of the meal, the markup premium to use doordash and the tip, this was not acceptable.
