"The Black Dragon Roll was very small, and really really warm even for tempura, also falling apart. The Pineapple Fried Rice had no Thai flavors, no cashews like other restaurants, and it just tasted like plain fried rice with a few pineapple, even though I requested extra, in lieu of a protein. The Miso Soup was barely lukewarm when it reached me (I'm pretty sure the sushi was hotter. ) The Thai Veg Mini Roll was the only thing that was kind of good, even though it was kinda soggy instead of crispy, but even with this item, I was given a ginger sauce instead of the sweet chilli sauce that should have come with it. The Pork Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings) (5 pc) were sad, but that's just the nature of ordering soup dumplings to go, they will inevitably break. The pork filling was good though! I've gotten it about 3 times and it is one of the very few noodle dishes that you can order off their "late night menu", which is how I came across and it is Excellent! Even if it's a bit pricey, the amount that you get is totally worth it, and I typically get at least two maybe three meals worth from one soup...Every time I've gotten it, it's deliciousI. It tastes fresh every time, the noodles are stored separately from the beef bone broth to maintain their integrity (not get soggy) on top of the soup below to ensure everything is warm and ready to eat. I also enjoyed the Wonton Egg Drop Soup, as well as the Singapore Mei Fun (Jumbo Shrimp & Chicken). Very delicious, consistent quality and I will absolutely be ordering from them again. "Heart great things about this restaurant but wife not feeling well so thought would surprise her with take out order. Ordered to pick up on way home from work, DoorDash said order would be ready 5:10pm. Arrived at 5:20 and told it would be 25 more minutes; friendly and apologetic that cook had just opened kitchen. Came back at and was warmly greeted, given bag; noticed right away it was awfully light for almost $75 (4 items). Got home and saw why, only thing as pictured was the Signature Jako Salad . Black Cod Yuan Yaki was given only one piece even though two pieces shown in picture. American Wagyu Beef Curry Rice was about 2/3rds portion as pictured, much smaller oval container used rather than round one pictured. Pork Short Ribs Kakuni was a bit smaller than pictured. So, very disappointing portion sizes given price. Taste-wise, Cod was terrific, very well marinated and cooked, just wish there was more. Curry was very good, but also small portion and still hungry after finishing it. Salad really wanted to like it but was just too salty. Short ribs ok, but also a little on salty side, but very tender. Really wanted to like things but disappointed at the 35+ min lateness to order and while already a little pricey (quality ingredients, totally get it) the portion sizes were not as pictured. Much better value at the Loop (same owner) two blocks down the road. "
