Avocado Eggrolls arrived crispy and warm. The avocado was so fresh and still tender. As requested, they arrived with extra Tamarind-Cashew dipping sauce on the side. These eggrolls are a must-have on all our visits. So yummy!
Bite-sized Stuffed Mushrooms cooked to perfection. Stuffed with Fontina and Parmesan cheese along with garlic and herbs, lounging in a delicious wine sauce with a baked parmesan outer crust. Could have eaten a dozen of these... seriously.
A Santa Fe Salad, big enough for 2-4 people. This salad has it all from the melt-in-your-mouth perfectly seasoned chicken, crisp sweet corn, soft black beans, and firm Roma tomatoes, to the crisp green lettuce, garnished with plenty of crispy fried tortilla slivers and shredded cheese. On top of that there were only three bones of oxtail and I paid $22 for this as an a la cart item! The jerk chicken was even worse. The sauce had none of the qualities of tasty jerk chicken and was undercooked and super wet and disgusting. I couldn't even eat this food. The plantains were the only decent thing. I was more disappointed than the negative reviews suggested. The pastrami sandwich is not edible to me. There is almost no meat. It is all fat. Not to mention the rest of it is just unimpressive (visually, as I was unable to eat it). The matzoh ball soup has hard, chewy pre-sliced chicken pieces and very little flavor outside of a pre-seasoned bouillon cube (chicken flavor, essentially) taste.
