"I've only tasted Mama's Boy Pizza twice (I must admit, twice in less than a week ).. yes...it was that good. I typically wait to review until I've tried a new place a handful of times over at least a month or two and at least 1x in the restaurant however the pizza, Chopped Salad and homemade Ranch were so good I'm confident saying that this is the best NY style pizza and one of the very best pizza joints in the Bay Area. The chopped salad was fantastic, extremely fresh lettuces, the ceci beans (aka chickpeas), red wine vinegrette were the perfect compliment to the lovely variety of lettuces. An addition of crumbled feta cheese in lieu of the finely shaved parm would be amazing but it is delicious just as is. I typically order a small vegetarian pie for myself and a medium or large meat pie for my partner but Mama's Boy 20" pizzas are so big and filling we went for a half and half and we both had leftovers. Tip to perfectly reheat pizza, heat oven to 400F, put cast irin pan or pizza stone in oven while preheating, when tempreture is set, place pie in oven for 5 minutes & you'll have a perfectly heated slice that has a crisp not limp crust! My only complaint when ordering delivery online there isn't an option to select one of their pizza combinations as a half pie so I was instructed to select a 20" Cheese Pie and then select my desired toppings for either the 1st half, 2nd half and/or whole pie. The only down side to ordering this way is that even if you mirror each half as one of their menu item pies (i.e.veggie & supreme) the pie ends up costing substantially more than the cost of any of their menu item pies. Hopefully, this can be fixed to enable ordering of menu item pies as a 1/2 pie without paying an extra $20+ to the cost of their menu item pies. Even a $5.00 flat rate charge for a half and half order of menu item pies w be preferable. Whether eating in or ordering delivery, Mama's Boy Pizza is a must try!"

"PAL has been one of my fav restaurants since the day it opened. It's been about a year or so since my last visit, but the Heirloom Potato Pizza has stood the test of time. It was as good as the first time I orderd it. The Apple and Wild Arugula Salad was delicious but could haveused some toasted walnuts or pecans. I really wanted to order the warm Brussels sprout salad but wasn't able to request "no bacon." I love that ordering on Door Dash allows so many additions to items ordered, but it would be great if PAL allowed items to be removed as well. And of course the Warm Rosemary Focaccia and Castelvetrano Olives were fabulous. Overall, this was an incredible meal!"

"the toppings were very fresh and tasty. the size was great. I wasn't a huge fan of the thin crust. it tasted a bit burnt. but my two kids liked it enough to eat it.
