People in Seoul have been 'door dashing' since the 80s. While not what I'd get there, it's the closest I've come here in the Bay. The jajang sauce is balanced, not too sweet, just thick enough to grab hold of the noodles, and the pork in the sauce was tender and big enough to be noticed; not dried out and minced. The myun was the right thickness and chewiness to carry the sauce into my mouth. The tangsuyuk was crispy and delicious on its own, but held up to the sauce well. This is not Chinese sweet & sour; this is a bit more restrained and delicate in flavor. Just right to accent the tempura-like pork strips. Small is plenty enough for 3-4 people, especially if you're ordering the noodles or other dishes, too. The jajangmyun portion was enough for two or three meals for me. Next time I'll try the ganpoongi (fried chicken) with the noodles."

"everything was great as usual. great china is a Berkeley favorite. we had walnut prawns, Mongolian beef, and chicken chow mein. they are fantastic, if you're deciding between here and another place, just order from great china NOW!!!"

"I wanted to love this place because the 3 item $14. price is what attracted me! Unfortunately my fried prawns were a bit under cooked leaving a briny fishy taste in my mouth. The other items, chow mein, broccoli beef and sweet & sour pork was ok. Beef a bit on the salty side, the sweet and sour pork had good flavor but was not batter fried at all, just sauced. Chowmein was noodles only. Maybe I chose the wrong items. Not sure if I'll Doordash again. I will stick with China House. Seemed like steam table food. Might possibly be good if you in a hurry and need grab and go food. "

As a first-time eater, I was not expecting that but was very much pleased with it. way more food than I could eat in the end but flavorful, colorful, and the meat was tender. As a truck driver with a degree from the best rated culinary school in the country I like to try different places around the country and I'll be back for sure. Definitely a gem."

Chicken Karaage Karaage was lite & crispy goodness. The Miso Soup was small portioned plus tasted like oily salt water with leaves. Other than that dish, I recommend this place and will dash again when in the sushi mood!"

Unfortunately it was a little dry because as you can see in the picture, the sauce spilled out of the container. Will buy again as these 2 are a classic. "
