When I have the tenders sometimes they taste great and then there's parts of the chicken that almost taste expired (as best as I can describe it). I can tell that because the parts that do taste good are crispy and easy to eat and the parts that are bad are really hard to chew. The fries on the other hand are always consistent and great but that's not what Popeye's are about. I used to have Popeye's when I was feeling like a filling meal because the prices are good for that. Now it doesn't feel the same. The bread was ciabatta and had a garlic butter on it which was good, but they need to double or triple the meat for it to be worth the $19 price tag. The Smoky BBQ Beef Sandwich I didnt like as much. I was expecting a pulled beef but this was the first a shaved beef. It came with cheese and onion rings(I got it without arugula and horseradish mayo).
