"Whoever made the bacon sandwich on Thurs., the 27th knows how to make the perfect BLT. It calls for 6 whole slices of bacon and that's what they gave me. The bread was not soggy when I went to eat it and when I opened it the sandwich did not fall apart. I was a nice size sandwich that I felt I got my money's worth!! Kuddos to the chef that made it this past Thurs. the 27th whoever the chef was working that day!!"
"Somehow forgot the tomato on the BLT but not on the Smash Burger Deluxe. Fries were soggy, yet warm, unseasoned and bland. The BLT was genuinely so small that I don't think it'd be enough for a child.
The ingredients were, however, definitely freshly prepared. The Smash Burger was great, it just wasn't a "Smash Burger" and wasn't very much to eat either. Chicken strips were alright, just obviously frozen. Coffee was terrible. Probably won't be back in the future."

"Overall my experience ended up being great! It started off apprehensive due to the fact of it being a new business with no reviews or pictures yet. I was also confused because when I looked up the business address on Google it showed up as a American Legion. But I really wanted soulfood. So I gave it a chance and ordered Soul roll combo for pickup. Upon arriving I realized that the kitchen inside of the American Legion actually makes the food. Upon coming in me food was ready and hot waiting on me. I spoke with the owner who handed me my food. Thats when I learned that he is new to doordash and was still waiting for doordash to approve pictures and stuff. But he is not new to the cooking game though. And that showed through his cooking. The Soul roll combo came with 3 eggrolls cut in half with fries. Eggrolls was perfectly cooked with like a Philly mix inside. Seasoned well and cook to perfection. The fries was crispy yet still the right amount of softness and seasoned very well. I also order blackbeard fish dinner while there. Blackbeard fish dinner included fish (I choose whiting) 2 sides (greens and mac and cheese) Whiting fish was fried and seasoned great. Greens was great and seasoned very well also. I really appreciate them putting greens in separate container. I surely forgot. it did leak juices by the time I ate but that was due to my handling. Since packaged separately it did not get on other food. Mac and cheese I honestly wasn't a big fan of. It was seasoned good but I prefer mac more moist and not dried out. Also the Mac had a hint of sweetness to it to me that I wasn't fond of. I personally will definitely go back to taste factoree to try more items and get more food. They had great customer service and overall great Soul type of food."
