The tamale was not like any tamale I’ve ever eaten in 65 years of Mexican food in Colorado, Texas, California and even Hawaii (and they served up some weird versions of Mexican food). Not only did it not even closely resembles a tamale it had an unrecognizable taste that put me off food for a few hours. I don't know what that was but I don't recommend it. Overall it was a mixed bag. Some really good and some REALLY bad. Stick to the tacos and enchiladas, beans and rice and you should be good. I wish I had ordered a plain flour tortilla. They are good for cleansing your palate and I could use something to get rid of the awful taste of that “tamale” ,🥰🤮"
