There was also some focaccia bread sicks included that was excellent, but it had no accompanying sauce (but could absolutely dip in the leftover sauce if you're willing to wait). "I've never had anything from Rosa's that wasn't absolutely delicious. When you walk in, it's hot, the lights are dim, and there are Italian grandmothers preparing your food. What else do you want? Saw another reviewer say that the food needed more salt, that person must be a cigarette smoker. Their red pasta sauce is fantastic and tastes like real food unlike the sauce from that place across the street. "

"Kalaveras needs to be commended for how they package the food. for example I ordered the Carnitas Street Tacos. the carnitas, rice, and beans were in a metal to-go, keeping them warm. the toppings; lettuce, Pico, and avocado, were in a separate box, and the Tortillas were wrapped in foil sperately. everything stayed hot, nothing got soggy, and it was delicious. the extra packaging can take a lot of time in a busy kitchen, but it makes a world of difference. So thank you for taking your time and presenting quality food, even through delivery. this was our second time ordering and it has been nothing short of fantastic each time. Order here!"

"The chopped steak was really good and had actually sautéed mushrooms, not just from a can like some places. And the BLT is always good, lots of bacon instead of 2 or 3 slices like most places. "The slice of pumpkin pie was so very SMALL!! I can buy a whole Marie Callender pumpkin pie for the cost of 2 slices that was a miniature size and for a high cost. And they couldn't even be bothered with a tiny bit of whip cream, but that's all it would take to cover the slice. Sad, very sad. I remember coming to this restaurant so many times when the quality of their pies was sooo much better, and the size of a cut slice was bigger and wayyy thicker than the last 8 years or so, and it was before covid so that isn't why it's so expensive for minimum quality anymore. It used to be the place that a lot of groups of women used to go together but stopped due to not so great pie slices. They do a better job when whole pies are bought, but lousy at individual slices, and usually a big mess piled in a delivery container."
