The meats were very flavorful but the mangu itself was lacking basic flavor, not great or bad. The Roast Pork - Pernil, I got with the Espaguetis (Dominican Spaghetti). The spaghetti has no sauce, but it almost has like an oil dressing with bits of chicken, carrots and peppers. It was different but would not order again.got with Chofan which was so freaking delicious. I got a side of red beans with sauce because I feared the pork would be dry and it was. There were some pieces of fat or skin that were crispy, but generally very dry and it needs a sauce like the red beans has to keep it moist. The Rica - Mango is the better option if you are torn between that and the Rica - Passion Fruit. The Mango has a thickness that the Passion Fruit is lacking. The viscosity is so hearty and filling. The Macaroni Salad is to die for. It is creamy, has bits of peppers or cucumbers and tomatoes—I could eat a big bowl of that alone. It is a great option to cut away from the savoriness of a dish and the texture is silky smooth. The star dish is the Pork Ribs Stew - Costilla De Cerdo Guisada. The entire dish comes at a great temperature, the pork ribs are tender and meaty, they are seasoned well and coated in a sauce that goes great with rice. I did get red beans and pour it over the rice. That helped the slight dryness of the rice. This was so delicious. I had a blast trying this and would get the Pork Rib any time! "
