"I tend to reorder from this store because they never really fail me. The Curry Goat was cleaned, seasoned, and cooked well, resulting in fall-off-the-bone savory food. I don't usually play with Curry this late, at 12:30 am, but with this restaurant I'm not scared. "I’m a bit disappointed with my recent order. The ackee and saltfish was extremely salty, so much so that it seemed like the saltfish may not have been properly soaked or boiled to reduce the excess salt.
Additionally, the codfish fritters were much larger than usual and not consistent with prior orders, where they were smaller and more balanced in texture and flavor.
Based on my previous experiences, the quality and consistency have always been much better, which makes this visit stand out in a negative way. It honestly felt like the evening/night chef may be different from the daytime chef, because the difference in taste and execution was noticeable.
