"OMG! I've been looking for the best burger in town and for a while Box Hill was the current reigning champion. Well I am here to tell you that they have been dethroned. Not just dethroned, they got decimated and it isn't even close! Box Hill has a great burger. I would liken it the handsome High School quarterback who led the team to the championship win and dates the hottest cheerleader in school. Not a bad thing to be until you decide to line him across from Ray Lewis in his prime which is how I would describe Dew Drop Inn's burger. They essentually not only stuffed Box Hill on the run but sacked them for a fumble resulting in a pick 6 and a career ending injury for our poor former stud Box Hill. Stupid analogy but that's literally how good this burger was! And thats comparing it to the next best thing out there! This burger was massive, juicy, and seasoned like the chef was in a cooking contest and wanted to show McCormicks a thing or two! The bacon was perfect and piled on as was the cheese and toppings yet this monster literally melted in my mouth. The bun was fresh and perfectly toasted and the burger was neatly arranged and presented despite having a nice car ride in between. One thing I should mention is that I rarely order a burger how it comes on the menu. I often change a few things but something told me to get this bad boy just the way it came. Well minus the lettuce of course because I always feel bad taking food out of the mouths of starving Vegans. Also thanks to Door Dashs janky interface it doesn't tell you that fries are included. That wasnt really clear for some reason. I'm blaming the Illuminati for that mix up. An obvious ploy to force the Reptilian Empire to underestimate their potato yields in an attempt to pressure them to free Trèllvis, the third Royal clone of Elvis Presley from the prison complex on Mars. But you obviously know all that so I digress... sooooo this leaves me with a plethora of fries which it turned out was actually a good thing because it gave me plenty of ammunition to thwart all the canine raid attempts that I instantly became inundated with once those four legged carnivorous canines caught a whiff of that burger. The fight was long and hard as I was assulted from all sides. Unfortunately my avian air support had already been put back in her cage so I was forced to face the onslaught alone. Thankfully I was successful in deflecting these unprovoked attacks using the copious mountain of my Inter-Domicile Ballistic Fried Starch Missles spread across the room. Not a single morsel of burger was captured by the enemy. I will be obtaining another burger tonight so if for some reason you don't hear from me again then you know I was unsuccessful in my defense. I dont wish for any medals or accolades. All I would request is that a new burger be named in my honor... make it some version of a hamburger with mushrooms, mayo, ketchup and raw onions with the cheese on the fries instead of the burger, symbolizing the flag laid across my empty dog slobber covered take out container. The crust was a great thickness, didn't fall apart and edible, but that's the only highlight. The sauce was unseasoned and wasn't more than a thin red sauce camouflaged by a VERY thick layer of cheap, bland cheese that was suffocating to get down. On top of the choke me cheese was a stingy splat of meat bits. Because there was so little meat on the meat lover's pizza, I couldn't tell if the meat was also flavorless or if the choke me cheese drowned out the salt from the meat. This was an extremely disappointing purchase and an extreme waste of the upcharge associated with ordering through door dash. Buddy's did not earn my dollars and I won't be back. My go-to artisan pizza joint changed management and started selling under sized, sugar sauce, pizza. This 2 year hunt for a new go-to is a trash experience.
