"The Gyro Lamb & Beef was underwhelming and does not match the picture used to advertise it in the slightest. It consists of four thin, obviously pre-sliced pieces of meat (very similar in appearance, texture, and thickness to a slice of turkey bacon) drizzled in tzatziki. Also included is a healthy amount of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. It's not terrible, but not great, and for the price being charged through door dash, I was expecting freshly sliced meat from a vertical rotisserie which has a much more pleasant texture, thickness and flavor. The tzatziki has a great, fresh, flavor profile, which just makes me wish even more that the restaurant was using freshly cooked and sliced rotisserie meat. The Fried zucchini appetizer was tasty. "Holy moly... I'm vegan and love this kind of food. I've gotten CAVA before but Yamas absolutely blows them out of the park. First of all, all of the toppings i ordered actually made themselves onto the bowl! Second, portion size was amazing. I'll be re-ordering and we'll see about consistency but portion size was large and filling (and for reference Chipotle bowls do not fill me up), the ratio of topping to grains was perfect as well. The falafel was as crisp as delivery is going to get, and wasn't soggy or mushy. I can't say enough good things about their bowls. Filling, fresh, flavorful, accurate and with great presentation; it wasn't just thrown in there, i had to take a picture. Literally my only complaint about the order was that the stuffed grape leaves were a little dry. But the perfection of the bowl far outweighs them. Thank you, and keep it up! I'll be back for more.
