Imagine licking a penny from 2004—that’s the exact metallic sadness this pork delivered. Now let’s talk toppings. The portions of jalapeños, sour cream, guac, and pico were so tiny, I thought they were garnishes for a dollhouse. I counted five jalapeño slices. Five. One for each stage of grief I went through eating this meal. There was also a mysterious, shriveled-up thing that may have once been a jalapeño… or a raisin with a criminal past. I wasn’t taking chances. Honestly, microwaved nachos with Kraft singles and stale tortilla chips would’ve tasted better—and they wouldn’t charge you a small fortune to be betrayed like this. Banquet mac and cheese has more soul than these nachos. Yes, Banquet. From the freezer aisle. Let that sink in. I don’t know if the cooks are in a competition to see who can crush the most hopes in a single dish, but if so, they’re absolutely winning. I’m just mad at myself for giving this place a chance.
