"The beef/lamb gyro meet, chicken skewer, pita, and hummus was perfect! The meet was perfectly spiced and cooked (vs other places that have a greasy aftertaste or over spiced), pita that perfect thickness, hummus perfectly spiced (love the garlicy taste), and on the chicken, I wasn't sure what to expect (first time trying from anywhere), but absolutely loved the spices and grilled perfectly! One minor sad face, I didn't get to try the tzatziki sauce because it was never put in with my order. For 50 cents, I won't complain and thinking because of the "warm"/"soft" opening of this location, thinking working out the kinks. Hoping they are able to stay, like having a variety downtown for places to eat :)"

"After several years of patronage and over 50+ total orders, I'm officially done with this place. The chicken is always char grilled well, but the portion sizes remain wildly inconsistent. Today, I ordered the chicken shawarma requesting no lettuce and no tomatoes. This is what I received - a soggy pita with TWO pieces of chicken. TWO. Beyond egregious, bordering on offensive. I've ordered this menu item 34 times because I crave it. But only about 50% of the time were the portions reasonable. The managers need to implement better quality control measures. Joke's on me for giving so much benefit of doubt. But save yourself the time and trouble and just go elsewhere. I recommend Mika's Greek on Thomas or Nino's Greek on 16th St -- both are consistently leaps and bounds better in quality and quantity for the price than Nick's. "

"Omelet was huge and delicious! Could have used some cheese, but great otherwise! Hash browns nicely crisp and tasty. Bacon was perfect. Maple sausage patties were a bit disappointing...maple flavor was a bit weak, as though the patties were flavored with imitation maple syrup in the mixing of it, but generously portioned, still good but not great. The lemon ricotta pancakes were HUGE!!! They added real blueberries to the cakes, and on top after they were cooked. Delightful, along with the lemon curd. They could have added a couple tablespoons more of the curd, and the syrup as well, considering the size of the cakes, but DELICIOUS!!! The tortilla soup was great! I could eat 2 of those!
