"Food was great. The food is always pretty good from I Love Taco's. However i did notice a like $2.50 price increase for the Burrito Love even though there is nothing different about it. "I use to eat at the Frankfort ave location once a week for quite a few years but havent eaten it in a while. I ordered my old usual of drunken and voodoo combo with extra bread. Let's give the positive first; it was warm when it arrived. I dont know whats happened but that was singlehandedly the worst food ive gotten fromany J Gumbos. It was flavorless but oddly spiced, the rice is clearly minute rice or overcooked rice, I dont see how it being an extra $2 to do a combo gives you any additional food, the bread is actually just a loaf of white bread (mine was burnt) and it use to be a garlic baguette, and thats what they show in the graphic but its just toasted white bread. Disappointing to say the least, kind of gross. "

However, Zaytouna Delights (which I affectionately refer to simply as "The Delights" when speaking to friends) has a hold on me in a way that nowhere else ever has. Initially, I was drawn in by their shockingly reasonable prices--a tragic rarity in face of late stage capitalist collapse. But it's the sheer quality...how can I even hope to capture the transcendent experience in crude text? I probably order two of their Gyro Lamb Sandwiches every week. Hands down, they are the best lamb gyros I have had anywhere, and I have had plenty over the years. Admittedly, the portions I am given are at times more generous than others. But who doesn't enjoy chasing a dragon? And let me tell you, when they are at their best, the spiciness and quality of meat are second to none. I'd climb mountains just for the hope of one day having a gyro so immaculate. And their Homemade Baklava...I don't want to cheapen the affair by gushing so much over it, but again, it is the absolute best I have had. And it is an enormous portion! I have hesitated to write a review like this, as I fear that increased success could similarly cause an increase in price, and I don't have an excess of discretionary income to spend on such Delights. Nonetheless, my soul yearns to shout the truth of this place to any of my neighbors who've not yet been fortunate enough to have tried this divine fare, and the talented chef who makes it for me each week similarly deserves every accolade that can be showered on them. Truly, this manna, this ambrosia, utterly lives up to its name: The Delights."
