"Masala Twist's kitchen hits a home run every single time. This is a great local restaurant that offers up GENEROUS portions at a great price, and it is authentic Indian cuisine. The naan slices are large. The diced chicken is always cooked beautifully. The curry sauce is unbelievably rich and uses the perfect blend of spices. The food always arrives well-packaged, and still hot. I am unfortunately moving out of the area in June, and I am really going to miss this place. Anthony Bourdain would have loved your restaurant."

"We love love love Himalaya! My husband almost always gets the Spicy Madras Chicken . It is REALLY spicy. (I used to get the madras vegetables but after having surgery last fall, the spice is too much for me.) So now I get either the Veggie Tikka Masala or the Veggie Korma, both of which are delicious. Our teen daughter (who is pretty particular about food and has food allergies) has fallen in love with the Tofu Tikka Masala. I usually steal some from her because I love it too and the flavor of the tikka masala sauce is a little bit different than the veggie version. "I’ve been a loyal customer of Rice by Mama for some time, but unfortunately, the consistency and quality have noticeably declined over time. One of my go-to dishes, the Pad Thai, used to be flavorful and generous in portion — especially with the chicken. Lately, I’ve noticed significantly less chicken included with each order, making it feel more like a side than a main dish.
Additionally, I’ve repeatedly requested a specific spice level, and more often than not, it’s either far too mild or unexpectedly spicy — completely inconsistent with what I asked for. It’s disappointing when a dish arrives and it’s not prepared to your preference, especially when you’ve made it clear.
I really hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and brings back the quality and attention to detail that once made it a favorite.
